* When You Eat of it You will Surely Die

(Genesis 2:16-17)
16 And the LORD God commanded the man
'You are free to eat from any tree in the garden;
17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,
for when you eat of it you will surely die.'

(1 John 3:8)
8 He who does what is sinful is of the devilbecause the devil has been sinning from the beginning.
The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.

(1 Peter 5:8)
8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around
like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

(Hebrew2:14-16)
14 Since the children have flesh and bloodhe too shared in their humanity
so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death-that isthe devil-
15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.
16 For surely it is not angels he helpsbut Abraham's descendants. Amen
